Assessment is funnel shaped, beginning with very broad levels of skill, and then isolating specific areas of need.

Determining competence of skills helps provide strategies for individualized education. Some of the assessments/tests used at Boston ABA include the Assessment of Basic language and Learning Skills (ABLLS), and Scales of Independent Behavior and Adaptive Behavior (SIB-R), and others. These tools provide an excellent means for determining the skills and deficits of persons with learning disabilities. By understanding learner skills, comprehensive curriculum may be tailored. Employing our data harvesting solutions, we will track skill acquisition and provide continuing assessment as needed.

Skills assessments are conducted regularly based on rates of skill acquisition, ranging from every 3 to 12 months.
