Kristin Chartier, M.Ed.
Kristin Chartier holds a Bachelor's degree from Merrimack College. While pursuing this degree, Kristin took particular interest in psychology and behavioral health. In graduate school, she studied education and had a focus on intensive special needs. Kristin has spent 9 years working with children and adults with unique abilities. This includes 3 years supervising adult residential programs for the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Mental Retardation. Kristin is a Massachusetts certified teacher and has spent 5 years working in public schools, teaching in substantially separate classrooms as well as integrated programs. She has been providing home services to children with varying needs for 5 years as well. Kristin was appointed by the Commonwealth to serve as medical guardian for one of her DMR clients and continues to spend much time advocating for children and adults with disabilities.

Heather Dorn, M.S., BCBA
Heather holds a Master's of Science degree in Human Services specializing in Social Work as well as a graduate certificate in Behavioral Interventions in Autism through the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Heather has experience teaching in public and private school settings, crisis counseling and working as an administrator for non-profits. She holds a BCBA credential and directs the business and personnel operations of BostonABA.

Neill Dorn, M.S., BCBA
Neill Dorn became interested in applied behavior analysis in 1998 when he took a part time job as a home-based therapist. Since that time, he has spent 4 years in direct service as a teacher and case manager for persons with autism and other learning disabilities. He has functioned as a supervising behavior analyst for an additional 4 years in home and school based programs. Neill currently serves as the supervising behavior analyst for Boston ABA in addition to his work at the E.K. Shriver Center of UMass Medical School, where he has spends time designing graduate level course content for behavior analysis and performing NIMH funded research on novel methods in behavioral data analysis.

Nicholas Gilman, M.Ed., BCBA
Nick has been teaching and consulting for nearly eleven years. He has worked directly with students in public school, private school, and home settings in Massachusetts and in New Hampshire. Nick taught full time in school and residential settings for eight years in Southborough, during which time he attended graduate school at Simmons College. After earning his M.S. Ed, he then completed the Advanced Training Program at Northeastern University: Masters-level coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis in preparation for the exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Nick greatly enjoys teaching students of a wide range of ages and abilities, and is a firm believer in promoting students' success through combining the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with a flexible, versatile, person-first teaching approach.

Taryn Hughes, B.S., BCABA
Taryn Hughes holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, specializing in developmental disabilities, from UMass Amherst. There she gained interest in ABA, interning at the May Institute. Before joining Boston ABA, Taryn worked at the May Institute. Taryn is interested in research with picture schedules and transitions with children with brain injuries as well as children with autism. She is currently in her second year as graduate student at Northeastern University, where she is pursuing a Master's of Applied Behavior Analysis and the BCBA, both of which she expects to achieve within a year. She currently holds the Associate level certification (BCABA).

Arianne Kindle, M.S., BCBA
Arianne has worked for Boston ABA since the company's beginning, providing an exceptional level of service to our clients and playing a major role in helping the company grow to its current state. Arianne holds a BCBA credential, and a Master's of Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University. She received her Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan Honor's College. Her current research topics include the use of functional assessments and methods for severe behavior modification. Arianne worked as a case manager and teacher for almost 2 years at a residential facility for children with developmental disabilities. While working at this facility she was trained in discrete trials implementation, data collection, deescalation techniques, and general Applied Behavior Analysis methodologies. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, cycling and watching Michigan football.

Maureen LeCert, M.S., BCBA
Maureen LaCerte is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children with special needs for over 20 years. She is an accomplished professional who currently acts as a clinical director for the Nashoba Learning Group on a full-time basis. Maureen works for Boston ABA on a part-time basis, overseeing programs and consulting to school districts.

DeNina Lewis, B.S.
DeNina has a bachelor's degree in pyschology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. She is currently a graduate student at Simmons College obtaining a master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Severe Disabilities leading to Initial Licensure for Pre k-12. DeNina works at the New England Center for Children, a school for children with autism and has been employed there since August 2005. She has served as a casemanger for two students, took on the lead role in core skills assessments and now serves as the Lead Residential Teacher in the residential program. She finds many rewards in direct service each and every day while working with children with autism. DeNina works for Boston ABA on a part-time basis as a home-based therapist and will begin student teaching in 2008. Her particular research interests includes music therapy, reinforcement assessments and social skills development. In her spare time she enjoys composing music, collecting unique post-it notes, and supporting the Kansas Jayhawks!

Katie Marks, B.S.
Katie Marks holds a Bachelor's degree from UCSB in Psychology . She has worked for Boston ABA on a part-time basis since the Spring of 2006, and also works full time for the May Institute's brain injury program in Brockton, MA. She is currently attending Northeastern for a Master's in Applied Behavioral Analysis, which she expects to complete in 2007. Katie will sit for the BCBA exam in early 2008. She has been working with children with autism for over 12 years and has recently expanded to working with children with traumatic brain injuries. Her current research interests include PECS, and looking at the effects of preference based teaching.

Corinne Murphy, M.Ed., BCBA
Corinne Murphy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with diverse experiences and a passion for teaching. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Rivier College. While pursuing this degree, Corinne obtained dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. In graduate school, she received her M.Ed. in Special Education through Endicott College and received her BCBA from UMASS Boston. She has worked for over 8 years utilizing applied behavior analysis to educate children with exceptional needs. This includes one year at the May Institute, and 7 years in public year -round programming while consulting and working with families and children through home-based services. Her particular research interests include fluency building, video-modeling to teach play and social skills, peer training and safety awareness programming.

Raoul Robert, M.A.
Raoul recently completed his Masters in Counseling from Framingham State College. His past experience with ABA includes 2 years spent at the New England Center for Children during which he worked as case manager and ABA tutor in one of their partner classrooms in the Westwood Public Schools. During his two years working with children with autism Raoul received training in discrete trials, deescalation techniques, data collection, functional and preference assessments and curiculum writing. Raoul has been a part of the Boston ABA team since August of 2007 working as a home based Therapist.

Yuko Ryder, M.A.
Yuko has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Plattsburgh State University of New York. While working with autistic children for more than 4 years Yuko also obtained a Master's degree in counseling psychology from Framingham State College. After working with population with mental health difficulties for a while, Yuko missed the joy and reward she used to receive from direct interaction with children with autism. At this point in her professional career, Yuko sincerely believes in the importance of providing behavioral intervention that does not ignore the role mental health plays for one's wellness. Yuko is currently working to achieve the BCBA credential, which she expects to complete within a year.

Stefanie Salome, M.Ed., BCBA
After receiving an undergraduate degree in the fields of psychology and elementary education from Regis College, Stefanie has received a Master's Degree from Simmons College and became a BCBA in 2005. Her work experience has included 8 years of teaching children with autism in both home and school settings. Stefanie is currently pursuing the Special Education Certification as a teacher.

Nicole holds a bachelors degree in psychology. She has worked at Boston ABA since the company's inception. Previous to that, Nicole worked for the May Institute schools for brain injury and Autism programs. Nicole is currently a graduate student at Northeastern University, where she is pursuing a Master's of Applied Behavior Analysis and the BCBA, both of which she will achieve within a year. She currently holds the Associate level certification (BCABA). Her particular research interests include: verbal behavior, equivalence relations, transitions, and discrete trial formats.
