Digital Momentary Time Sampling (DMTS) is a product that allows an observer of behavior to take samples (video clips) of behavior and form an estimate of actual occurrences. This software has been the object of careful experimentation. Specifically, it was found to be an accurate estimator of responding at moderate and high rates, and was an remarkable time-saver. Comparable estimates of behavior were obtained in 79% less time than with direct observation.
